HOVR is an architecture and interior studio in Jakarta. Since 2012 we have designed homes, workplaces, and public buildings across Indonesia.

OUR STORY

HOVR began as two architects sharing a desk and a conviction: that good buildings come from listening first — to the site, the climate, and the people who will live with the result for decades.

Today we are a team of fourteen architects, interior designers, and makers. We still work the same way: few projects at a time, a principal on every one, and drawings that start by hand.

We start with the site — its light, wind, views, and neighbours — before we draw a single wall.

Concrete, timber, stone, and lime: materials that show how a building is made and age with grace.
